Daniel 11:1-20

We've all felt that ache when we want something but can't have it; like when we desire a job, a relationship, or peace and it slips through our fingers. We ask wrongly when we focus on our own desires instead of God. Daniel 11 can feel confusing; it's a prophecy about kingdoms rising and falling, alliances breaking, and people caught between chaos. Yet the message is clear: God's truth is steadier than any kingdom, relationship, or success. When we're swept up in the carousel of life, where one win leads to another loss, God's promise holds us steady. He doesn't promise a stable world but a steady hand that knows where we're going. So when you're struggling with what's next, ask: 'What success am I treating as permanent?' Because true confidence comes from knowing God's kingdom is eternal, not our temporary wins.
